The Story
Podocarpus henkelii also known as Long Leafed Yellowwood has long (5-7 inches) blue-green leaves droop on sweeping branches. It grows to 25 to 35 feet tall by 15 to 25 feet wide making it a great privacy shrub.
The foliage is distinctive, consisting of dense, heavy, shiny, dark green, conspicuously drooping leaves. You'll want to plant in sun or part shade with regular watering.
It is moderately drought-resistant and frost hardy but grows best on moist sites in sandy or loamy soil. It can also tolerate less favourable sites, but tends to grow slower.
